I know journey does begin in a desert, but it continues on to a snowy mountain climate (I case if you didn't know i've played it once)

Oh yeah, you're right!  It's been a while.

I remember the last images in the game, where you can barely take any more steps up the mountain before you find what you were looking for.  Poignant and gripping ending.

Love your mark making. Are you using Corel Painter? If so, what are your preferred tools to use?  I still need to give painter another try.

I use Photoshop, but I made custom brushes that emulat traditional media as closely as possible.  I did this because Painter's brush engine is way too complicated for me to figure out.
